#Tussenkunstenquarantaine

In march 2020 the Dutch government announced a total lockdown in order to control COVID-19. In short notice, everyone in The Netherlands had to stay and work at home. In a way, when people get bored after a few days, a lot of creativity was seen on social media.
Also Anneloes from Amsterdam had to stay home and she went crazy after a few days. So as a joke with a friend, she came up with art challenge #tussenkunstenquarantaine. It became a huge succes even get noticed by The Rijksmuseum, MOMA, Louvre and other famous museums.

The challenge is as simple as fun: recreate a famous artwork with three items from home. Of course I joined this challenge with the recreation of Van Goghs ‘Blossom’ piece.

The redaction of the Dutch quiz: De slimste mens, contacted me if they could use my #tussenkunstenquarantaine for their quiz. I didn’t hesitate to say yes. So on july 15th 2020 my pillow And toiletpaper was seen on national television.
